Calling all Korean culture enthusiasts! KCON, aka the Korean Conference, is a one or two day event that happens across the globe to celebrate all things Korean. It has 1.6 million followers and last year hosted more than 150,000 attendees. Each year, KCON gathers Korean musicians, alongside Korean culture panelists for a mix of a festival/conference environment. This is the place to explore Korean music, beauty, and food.
What is KCON?
So far, KCON 2020 has confirmed dates in LA, NYC, Japan, and Thailand, and, if past years are any evidence, there will be dates coming for KCON in Bangkok, Australia, France, Mexico, and Abu Dhabi as well. Attendees can expect to experience all of Korean culture, with innovative products displayed in expos, as well as panels discussing the latest and greatest of Korean culture trends as they relate to beauty, music, and so much more. Like any good conference, these events also provide plenty of opportunities to dance and celebrate with other K-fanatics through musical performances from K-Pop’s biggest stars and breathtaking rookies.
If you are looking for exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities, the chance to rub elbows with Korea’s most influential influencers, or get connected to a community of fans, KCON is calling you.
General Admission tickets provide attendees with access to the expo, panels, workshops, KCON Stage, Star Live Talk, and surprise idol appearances throughout the convention. In New York City, there is an additional ticket called “KCON Rookie”. These tickets offer everything included in general admission PLUS Rookie tickets are exclusive a “launchpad” for aspiring K-Pop musicians. On the evening of June 12, rookies will be invited to play games, perform, and take on challenges with the hopes of acquiring fans among the general admission KCON attendees.
